The Pepsi Restaurant Battle will pin four of Tampa’s best local restaurants in a head-to-head battle to find out who can create the best Big Game Sunday dish, judged by SHAQ! Pepsi Stronger Together is partnering with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) to donate $100,000 in grants to help struggling Tampa Bay-area restaurants. Pepsi and the NRAEF will award a $10,000 grant to the winner of Restaurant Battles announced live during the SHAQ Bowl!
Featured dishes from the participants include:
- DATZ: Specialty burger with a bun made entirely of mac & cheese
- BubbaQue’s: Stacked smoked brisket sandwich with a side of fried cream cheese stuffed Jalapeños!
- 7th & Grove: Jerk chicken and collard green Eggroll
- Harpoon Harry’s: Steam crab claw with a guava smoked red chili buffalo sauce and a side of Roquefort blue cheese along with a blue crab guacamole with homemade chips.
